Finally a great book for dads

Growing up my mom used to say there’s no book to teach how to be a good parent. Through the years a few books have popped up for women.

Having a book to support first time dads is brilliant! The author addresses self care and burnout which most men view as “feminine” but his perspective is spot on and gives men ideas, permission and support.

The book dives deep into understanding what the woman’s mind and body are going through giving first time fathers clear ways to be there for her. By the end I felt that men will be well equipped to be their best selves.

Really useful book

I was really worried about becoming a father. So many decisions to make. I've seen the father I don't want to be, but wasn't sure what type of father (and husband) I did want to be. This book has reminded me that as long as you stick together as a team, you'll be fine. Thoroughly recommend.

This comprehensive and well-researched guide is for first-time dads. The book covers everything from pregnancy to birth, emotional and financial challenges, becoming a good parent, and planning for the future. I liked the information about child seat installation and many more practical tips. I recommend the book to any soon-to-be dad. 

All new dads need to read this. Really!

This book for first-time dads is an incredible guide. The emotions that soon-to-be dads go through are never talked about in my experience, as all attention goes to the mom, which is a shame because a lot is going on within the father as well. The book also explains what's happening inside the mother's body to the dad. For example, the mother's stomach and bladder must move and adapt to the growing baby. I loved how much variety of information this book provides for new dads. Everything from financial considerations like what type of insurance to consider to the kind of supplies the baby needs and how many to keep on hand. I recommend this book to all soon-to-be fathers, as it is incredibly useful and will give you more confidence as you learn how to be a dad.

1st time fathers will be happier after reading this.

Great book for helping first time dads. As a father that has done this before, this book has everything that a person needs to be in the moment. I especially liked the chapter on getting to the hospital and what comes with it. There are small things not to forget and this book covers those nicely.

There is a lot you should know specially in supporting your partner during pregnancy and more which this book covers.
