Publisher's summary

I'd thought the threat from Seattle was finished. That we showed up in time and took care of business.

I hate being wrong. It really ruins my day.

When Roger, the alpha of the North American pack, shows up at my door with the news that a demon has made it to the Underworld with knowledge of me, some hard decisions have to be made.

Do I stay above ground, with all my magical friends, and wait for the battle to come to me? Or do I seek the demon out, and pluck the threat out by the root?

I don’t want my friends to die on my behalf. I could never live with myself. But if I venture into the Underworld, it’ll be the most perilous journey of my life.

This time, it isn’t just my life hanging in the balance, it is my eternity.

My first "Dramatized" Adaptation

I went into this series quite unsure if I would like the multiplayer cast, but I found that it was pretty good. There are times when the background noise gets a little obnoxious and loud, but for the most part it's well done. Since each character has its own cast member, discerning between characters is quite easy, like watching TV without the picture. Story narration is done by the female lead throughout the series.

The plot is interesting and keeps the story moving forward quickly. The premise is not one I've read before. There are a few R-rated scenes, but they're done tastefully. It does make me kind of feel like an unintentional voyeur, but not too bad.

If you haven't tried a dramatized adaptation, give this a listen. It's enjoyable!

So good 😊

I honestly wasn’t sure if I would like it but the actors brought it to life and the story it’s self was interesting and I couldn’t stop listening and laughing 😂 honestly was thinking there would be more spice 🌶️ but it gets better with each book 📖 but I’m a new fan of KF Breene

Heart squishy words, and other squishy surprises!

Hint:
Squishy surprises are not attached to violence. No surprises there!
If you read the series, you should understand; if not, you'll enjoy the surprise.
The voices for Vlad and Roger did not match my imagination, but that's my opinion.
I thoroughly enjoyed the first 3 books' dramatization.

Excellently done

Owner of the books, audiobooks, and now this. Love it. The music can sometimes be a bit loud but the performances are great.

This is the final book the the original trilogy, this world does expand out into other books. I am actually really glad for this. This book does feel complete to a certain extent, but there is still a whole lot left open ended for Reagan especially at the end that means another set of books would be epic.

Another great listen to this one. I really love the grapic audiobook setup and will definately have to check out others.

Adrenaline Pumping!

As soon as the story starts, it keeps you totally engaged & it doesn’t stop, except when Callie wants it to. lol!
From start to (almost) the end, the story brings on the almost constant on the move, with definitely adrenaline pumping action with a lot of excitement & some nail biting moments (perhaps) as well.
I really liked how this book keeps your focus & doesn’t seem to stop until the end. It is a great book to end Reagan Somerset’s story arch (for now). The trek that Reagan & Darius does is arguably a very bad idea, absolutely full of danger; but filled with enlightenment for them as well.
I’m quite happy how Reagan’s story arch has ended. Darius’ story is becoming more intriguing though. Plus there are still some questions that need to be answered, which I’m sure we’ll get to after we meet some new characters.
Can’t wait to find out just how everything (& everyone) ends up. I have no doubt that there will be more action & intrigue with hopefully some funny moments too.

Love this series!

A fun adaptation of the DDVN series. Love the series and performance. The background music and sound effects got loud and overpowering at times, which was annoying. Great story, nonetheless!

Fabtabulous

Love, love, love this series (actually anything KFB). The Graphic Audios are a perfect complement for the action. Release them sooner! Oh and I vote for the SF Demigods & Chosen series next to GA plz.
