a hidden gem of a series

it's rare to find a book that does the weak MC to strong journey correctly. this series does it brilliantly

This book was fantastic!!

This audiobook was fantastic! The main character's growth journey is captivating, and witnessing him develop and master his abilities was a real highlight. The author's portrayal of his thought process while inventing new skills added a layer of depth that made his victories incredibly satisfying.

One minor point to note: While listening, I did find that some of the narrator's character voices became a little similar at times. This made it slightly challenging to distinguish between certain characters.

Big turn!

Oh man Larek takes a dark turn to become a merciless warrior on the way to revenge. New style, new fights, still a lot of fun!

Making a way home.

Larek had a number of grand adventures, from dealing with extortion assassins to a monster singer. What hit me the hardest was when he lost who was closest to him. I need to keep reading to see how he copes with that loss.

Our woodsman has finally got his stuff together and trying to rock ‘n’ roll even though every single twist turn he’s done he’s been forced into it, but even though Destiny is a calling and he’s going forward in, I wonder what’s gonna happen in the new book can’t wait to see your love that you’ll love this one 

Fantastic book

Laerek continues to be a fun character to ride along with. I love the fact we get to be in a whole new area, though the stress on what’s going on with his family was pretty high. Haha.

I love how Laerek continues to want to learn and is never content with the status quo of his learning stage. It is also appreciated on how things seem to progress in sync with what you expect, albeit the fact that it leaps and bounds around others due to his unique situation.
