After thirteen years in prison, a father returns to find his son calling someone else daddy, and his woman having sex with the next man. The woman he thought was the love of his life is now married to a wealthy businessman, and lives a life of opulence. The couple have brainwashed the ex- convict’s son to have nothing to do with him, while living a life so far from the street they’ve lost identity. The son is fearful and sees his father as a menace, the woman sees her ex as a chapter of her life she wants to forget, and the new baby daddy is just pissed. Everything spins out of control as children and relationships hang in the balance.
Along the way we meet the mother dependent upon street money for survival, an out of control partner addicted to sex and violence, strippers with daddy issues, and the drug boss who tries to pull him back in.
Can a convict change and rise above foolishness? Can he work a dead end job where he’s treated like a second class citizen? Will his son ever respect him? Will he ever be in his child’s life? Is he doomed to failure and dead or in jail scenarios? When will salvation come? Can salvation come? Will the ex con find a new woman? Can he ever be at peace? Will two men do what’s best for a child, or will their egos clash for the worst? Can they all be happy?
