Meggie Hope thinks herself quite clever, though she's never once stepped foot outside her home, Muirfield Hall. She is, in fact, no match for the intoxicating charms of Gabriel Jamison, her own betrothed.

It was good but...
Let me say, I love this author and narrator but for some reason this story line seemed to drag a bit when compared to the others in this series. It was still a good story I just found myself fast forwarding a few times and I am not one to do that when listening to books. I am still looking forward to the remaining books in this series.

Adam and Lark
Tim Campbell’s narration is the best! The humours parts were quite good. The story overall was enjoyable.Lark is a great name for the female character.
