Publisher's summary

Have you ever been lied to? Of course you have, whether you knew it or not. Ever caught a spouse, business partner, parent, boss, or child brazenly lying right to your face? What if you could tell someone was lying, just by listening to them, and observing their actions and behavior?

How to Spot a Liar is the first audiobook that gives you the tools to figure out what's really going on - to gain the upper hand in salary negotiation, move a prospective client toward the outcome you desire, and find out why you need to end a business or personal relationship.

Who needs How to Spot A Liar? Anyone with a cheating spouse or manipulative boss. Anyone conducting job interviews or cold-calling prospective customers. Lawyers who need to "read" witnesses or jurors. Anyone trying to survive the dating scene or faced with a string of business meetings with clients. Anyone who has teenagers at home or works on Capitol Hill. Anyone whose success and happiness depends on clear interaction with others. And anyone who wants to become just a bit more inscrutable, in business, life...or even at the poker table!

I’m listening as often as I can!

Great job! 😎 I am going to keep listening to it until I stop wondering if other people are lying to me. Nothing is perfect, but the odds will be on my side. Thank you! 🍀

...Great Info!

I liked this book very much. It has a lot of useful information,...but,... they kind of run through it very quickly. They blaze through some of the key points. I had to listen to it a few time to fully ingest the material.

good stuff though.

very interesting

some of the info was pretty dry military style writing and you need to take a lot of notes to follow it but overall very interesting

Highly educational

I found this book to be highly educational in the ways that humans communicate without knowing it. This book (I ordered the hard copy) has started my quest for more information on the subject. Highly recommended by this listener.

knowledgeable information

It has a decent amount of good new information, however I felt a large amount was hinged on other books out there that explain more completely a d throughly. Still a good read.
