Masterful

I have loved every book by Catherine and equally her narration of each book. I am blown away that this book somehow tops the others to be her best yet. What an incredible concept and executed so well. I loved each character and the multiple perspectives changed at just the right moments. I never wanted this to end, and couldn't stop binge listening to see what happened next! Her narration was flawless as usual. More please!

Another great listen!

First I have to say I love that the author reads the story- she is excellent and it is part of my favorite thing about her audiobooks. I can’t get enough of her stories, and now I’m sad because I’ve finished it and I have to wait for her to write more. If you have never read a Catherine Steadman book- you’re missing out- they are all fantastic so grab one and you won’t be disappointed! 😊

Couldn’t stop listening

I’ve read/listened to all of her books and I think this one is my favorite! So good! I couldn’t stop listening.

Un-put-downable!!!

I eagerly anticipated the release of this novel, and was not disappointed! I devoured it in a day and a half, as I literally could not stop listening. Catherine Steadman is a highly intelligent, creative, clever writer and just when you think you know what happens next…you don’t. Bravo!!!

One of her best - holy cow

This was a very fast paced, white knuckle ride. Though some of the clues were obvious, the entire book was super twisty. Like a twisted version of the Truman show, I loved every moment of this book. Can’t wait for her next one!

Different!

This story is a little different from the other psychological nail-biters. There are good cliff hangers which make it hard to stop listening. Great voice actor, too.

Perfect Thriller

Catherine is my favorite author and narrator, although I loved all her work and in principle I don’t like to rank however this one is probably one of the best thrillers ever written, I was torn between wanting to crank the speed and slowing it down to enjoy her performance, also, as an exclusive thrillers listener with 45 books under my belt (in audible since mid 22) I must admit that what distinguishes CS from all other writers (in my opinion) is that she doesn’t wedge in fillers everything she writes is important and crucial to the story… can’t wait for her next book

Very clever from start to finish. Left me hoping this is the start of a series. .

Catherine is just my favorite

I enjoyed the book. I think her other ones are brilliant and hasn’t ever let me down. This one is just good. Not as mind blowing as the others but still really good.

A little bit of everything

I love Catherine Steadman and I loved hearing her read this. Sometimes the American accents or the phrasing of things are off, but overall I love her narration and love to hear an author read their own work

Spoiler warning:
It’s easy to see where all of the components of this book were pulled from. Lots of “Epstein-y” elements with the debauchery and hobbies of the mega wealthy preying on young women/poor. The ONLY piece I didn’t see coming was the finale with the neighbor, which in hindsight, is a silly oversight. All of the pieces of the pieces, even the ones that seemed a little frivolous during the book, came together- which is so Steadman! She didn’t disappoint and I’ll anxiously await her next release!
