bored and confused

the plot complications didn't make sense to me, and the one sex scene was boring, the ritual occult stuff with the sex seemed like a bit too much all thrown together, I skipped past most of it.
I liked the normal detective stuff though so I finished the book for that.
I typically love the extra steamy and extra spooky stuff btw.

Male Audio

Loved the male audio and male point of view the story felt like a wild goose chase.

I have no words. Amazing, crazy, beautiful, insane, creep, exquisite….wow! Blow away by Trisha Wolfe’s writing. Lucy Rivers and Joe Arden took the narration to the next universe! I’m wrecked in the best way.

Brilliant, primal, sexy...the only way to make it better is if it was duet narration. Excited for book 2.

The amount of times i said OMG.......

This is book 1 in the Hallows's Row series. The story follows a chronological order and I recommend reading this way. This book is dark so please check content warnings before diving into this one.

****Side note....I listened to this book on audio and I am so glad that I did. the performance by Joe Arden and Lucy Rivers is top notch and they both truly brought an amazing aspect to this book. They brought the characters to life and really took this book to another level.

Boy did this book blow my expectations out of the water. I found this story via BookTok. I had heard so many wonderful things about it that I went in blind. What a way to discover an amazing series. Now, before you go in without knowing anything about this story, know that I have no triggers or things that bother me so if you do, please do your research.

Wholly guacamole was this book amazing. Author Tricia Wolfe took my expectations of this story and blew them to smithereens. I LOVED THIS BOOK! the psychological aspect and the constant references to philosophy and their impact on this story was so original. Don't even get me started on the tension between Kallum and Halen. Their interactions were amazing and I loved their banter. This book is not for the faint of heart. It is about a serial unaliver and a profiler who find a deep connection. The plot twists and surprises in this story were absolutely mind-blowing. If you love dark romance, a psychological mind-f%$# and a book that will have you saying WTH...Pick this one up. I loved it so much that I immediately downloaded book 2 and 3 to get started to se where the author takes this story and me!

Suspending Your Disbelief Might Be A Challenge

This story gets better if you mentally put the events of the story in an alternate reality where Boston is a state, crime scenes are left unguarded and unmonitored for days on end, and someone with a PhD in Psychology could have half a chance at never hearing of the concept of the übermench. If you have spent any amount of time in the Hannibal and/or the Silence of the Lambs fandom, you have read this story.

If you are looking for a not-too-heavy dark romance that you can turn your brain off and enjoy, this is for you, as Joe Arden and Lucy Rivers are wonderful. If you have any passing familiarity with Psychology, Philosophy, Criminology, or Forensics, you may have difficulty suspending your disbelief enough to enjoy this.

Absolutely loved!!! I couldn’t stop listening! The plot turns, the keeping you on edge, loved every second of it!

This book really surprised me! Not at all what I was expecting but I am obsessed! Also Lucy Rivers is now on my auto buy list! Love her!

Mind Blown

This book is very heavy on words for my simple mind but get through that and holy shit it’s good. I LOVE books that surprise you and this book shocks you.

Hannibal

This is very close to Hannibal season 1. Not very original but is a good one
