Finally got the audio, and it's great!

I got the book as soon as it got out, already read it twice, but I needed the voices for the full experience, and the audiobook was everything I expected. Sheldon's voice is soft and feminine in contrast to Theo's voice, which is deep and slightly hoarse. The narrators did an amazing job! Only thing I lamented is that Kit didn't do Marvin's voice for his cameo, but that's a little detail. Will be definitely listening to this many, many more times.

Sweet odd-couple redemption story

Loved the characters, the narration, and how they helped each other heal. Could have done without the text-messaging sound effects.

Definitely worth the read, highly recommend

This book was hilarious and excellently written. I thought this book would be cliche or corny but it wasnt at all. The author is creative and has uniquely spun the cliche of jaded lover meets chipper lover cliche, and the fake lovers to real lovers cliche. Having characters with diverse body sizes is also an inclusive decision. As a plus sized person, I felt represented. Booster is a weird nickname. Never got used to it. Cute ending. Steamy scenes throughout.

🎧 Narration: the sound quality & production were so well done. both narrators were very easy to understand. i listened on 1.7 & felt like they kept the pace of the story. i loved how the narrators were able to really make their characters personality shine.

i absolutely adored this. i loved teacher of the year & this one did not disappoint. the story was precious - i love theo with my whole heart. we love an @ss man. & sheldon with this dirty mouth & purple nails was just his perfect match. i loved the grumpy/sunshine beauty & the beast vibe. overall just a swoony, steamy joy to read.

I didn’t want it to end!

Want a story with queer characters so real they feel like your friends? Look no further than Theo and Sheldon. The story was so heart warming with plus size and femme rep you will hardly see in any other mm romance. The spice made my ears red! The performance was so good I didn’t want it end. 10s across the board MA Wardell.

Amazing!!!

At first, I was a little skeptical of this book after hearing the first couple of chapters. I thought, “Here we go. Another story about a floaty little twink and a gloomy veteran.” But it evolves past that a then some! It also gets spicy and we all love the spice!

Sweet and steamy holiday romance

Love the opposites attract trope, and this one had all the heartwarming holiday feels along with a surprising amount of heat. A great listen! Narrators were excellent.

Wow! I’m not crying…you are.

The narrators have done an amazing job bringing Matt’s story to life. This is the fourth time I’ve listened to this book. Talk about representation! It’s wonderful to read stories to which I can relate. Thank you MA Wardell for this amazing treat. It’ll remain a favorite for life. -PB

Christmas Hanukkah and romance

This was a very enjoyable book I love the holidays and the Jewish mom and dad We’re absolutely a fantastic add onto the story a little angst little sadness and a lot of fun
