Great Book For Getting Started

Zayne Wascomb did a great job putting this book together for people who want to build as business with minimal equipment.
He starts the book off with the small amount of cleaning tools you'll need in order to get started.
Then Zayne describes a great model for building a business.
Finally, he covers how to flourish your business by hiring new people.

Best of all, the book is narrated by Jeff Bower. For the few of you who don't know who he is, Jeff is the narrator The Crimson World Series (a great sci-fi series written by Jay Allen). If you haven't heard it, I would definitely give it a listen.

So interesting and inspiring for this business

My friend recently started a mobile car detail business, and I wanted to listen to this for ideas and to be supportive for his business. The author layed everything out, to include marketing, and made the idea of launching this business to not be as daunting as you might expect. The author made it seem actually very simple, and the narrator motivated me to get involved with my buddies business to help him become successful.

A simple business you can start right away

Before this book, I didn't realize how accessible this type of business was. The fact that you can get started with minimal supplies and in a way that is MORE convenient and appealing to the customers gives me a lot more confidence in the ability to be successful with it! The audiobook is a short and sweet listen—offering everything you might need to know to get started! The business model is super simple, so there's no need for the book to be hours and hours long. It covers what you specifically need to invest in to get started, which will run you up ~$600, this isn't bad at all for a business you can get started with right away as the skills you need are pretty intuitive. As long as you are thorough and know the basics about using the equipment, there's no reason why you can't do a great job of detailing the car on your first or second go! (Try detailing you own car first, that should be enough to get a good handle on things). It also goes over how to go about marketing your services with some great specific social media, online, and flyer-based marketing strategies. The tips are super actionable. The rest of the book goes over specific (but easy to handle) nuances that come with running this type of business and even touches on bringing in some help at the end. Overall a great audiobook to listen to and immediately start implementing what is taught!

Informative & Flexible!

I loved the narration and all the information shared on how to start a mobile car detailing business. The flexibility of this type of business, along with its low upfront costs, makes me more confident in starting one. I appreciated the detailed list of necessary equipment, including a pressure washer, vacuum, extractor, hose, and more. His advice on clearly communicating expectations with clients was extremely helpful. This is an amazing resource!
