Another win for Ali

Another win for Ali!! I absolutely LOVE Ali's STEM books & I love her style of writing. Her characters are so real & relatable & it's easy to fall in love with. I devoured this book in 2 days & I am already considering whether to start it over. Only downside is having to wait for her next book release.

Message to Ali:
Girl. I LOVE your writing & I LOVE your characters.....but... it's starting to feel like your books are a checklist of romance tropes that you are working your way through. Which can be good....but....it can be bad too. Your readers who fell in love with your 1st handful of books may not be into vampires, werewolves, or soft BDSM. Just a thought. Maybe find your niche & settle in. I still love you ❤️

Well written and steamy

It has a great story line with or without the romance. I could actually envision listening to this one again.

Seems like Ali Hazelwood is really starting to churn them out

I personally feel like the storyline was half baked at best. The ending came with almost no repercussions for anyone doing any evil shit to anybody else. Eli is a whipped baby. Rue is still emotionally unavailable. Nobody has dealt with their trauma. But yay ice skating. Pretty alright overall. Not Ali Hazelwoods best book but I listen to her books while working so it got me through the day.

Not what you think!

I thought when I seen the test tubes, this would be more of a chemistry sci fi book, about two colleagues working in a lab. But it’s a saucy novel!

I didn’t want it to end!!

Super spicy! Fabulous narrators! Great story: plot, emotional, spicy scenes, main characters, etc. Love this author!!

Too cute not to listen

One of my favorite listens of 2024. Nice slow burn love story with a lot of spice.

Narration Was A Distraction

I have read all of Ali Hazelwood’s books and have really enjoyed them. I’m sad to say this book did not live up to the others she has written. The story is *very* steamy and just ok. I appreciated how the main character is obviously on the spectrum but unfortunately found the narration to be so distracting. Especially when the male and female main characters were talking-the audio recording had both actors speaking vs having the male/female actor speaking the other’s voice. Not all books can be great and this one definitely is not Ali Hazelwood’s best work.

Ali did it again!

Ali did not disappointed me at all. I really enjoyed this new STEM (not) love story feom start to end. I could easily identified with all the characters, they were fun, realistic and very different from each other. Ans them plot was also good (I am still mad a Florence). I was surprised for how spicy was this story was but when Ali mixed with such a good plot and well developed characters, the spicy was one quality of the many, like a food recipe, rather than the "only one ingredient".

Nothing new here

If you have read Ali’s books, skip this one! Same old plot and predictable story line with extra dose of kinky . Audio narrators make the book bearable !

Strong backstory, good spice scenes

I enjoyed this book. What threw me off was that they used the same narrator as another Hazelwood book and it was very difficult to hear this new character as not the same one from Love's Hypothesis.
