Absolutely Heartbreaking

(SPOILERS)
I hate Kitt with passion because of that ending. What. Why?? So he can torture Pae in the worst ways infront of Kai forever? He's evil.. I also hated the beginning. Mostly the first 21 chapters. The way they were so rough with each other and their first kiss broke my heart 😭 I didn't like how Kai lost his tenderness he felt for her in Powerless.. It was extremely difficult to deal with... But I'm glad that got fixed at the end even though I still can't forgive that.. Honestly I was so terrified Kitt would make Kai torture Pae or something so fked up like that. I would hate that even more. But.. He decided he's going to do that instead and hurt Kai along with it.. Forcing Pae to marry him?? I just think of the worst.. What if he forces himself on her and make her suffer that way.. The worst ways.. I doubt he's going to turn back to a kind king.. He's going to be worse.. Crazier more awful.. At least I'm really hoping I'm wrong. This book is full of angst. Written well if I do say so myself. But for me personally was hard to deal with the constant hurt they brought to each other. I'm very glad we found out a lot about Ordinaries, the Plague, Paedyn and Paedyn's dad.. And Ava, Kai's sister.. I would sum this book up as pretty depressing though. There wasn't much to laugh about or a silly banter. It was serious and it was painful 😅 but.. I'll read the last book and hope everything works out well in the end..
