Narration was a bit off

The story was pretty original.l, but the narration was lacking. To sum it up, it sounded like something along the lines of Barbie and her friends having an adventure. Really, really wished I would have listened to the sample first.

A very fun read! If you like intrigue and spy stories but always wanted lesbian protagonists, this is a book for you.

Foreign pronunciation is laughable

99.9999% of ever single foreign word including several Wabanaki terms were pronounced 100% incorrectly. If one is going to narrate a book about spies and foreign intrigue, wouldn't you look up how the terms are pronounced? Not if you are this narrator. Everything else was fine, decent story, etc. But it is jarring when you hear names of foreign cities, French terms that have actually entered the English vernacular, be so incredibly mangled. Narrator got three stars from me, story is about a 4.5. I guess it could have been worse, I could have purchased this title at full price...

Great story!

I loved the story. It was romantic with lots of excitement! Awesome! I highly recommend the book.

I want more

I am a big fan of AJ Quinn. I don't know the circumstances of why there are only 5 books but if I ever find more I won't hesitate to buy them.

Good In Spite of Narration

I liked the story and characters. The narration, however, drove me nuts. How hard is it to find out the proper pronunciation of words when you are paid to say them??? Very frustrating. I made it through because the story was worth it.

Audio made it worth a second read!

I'd read This book previously and enjoyed it. the audio just made it better! thr narrator did a great job. I enjoyed her voice. was a little off during times but overall good job!

Great story

Loved this book. Excellent story. Looking forward to the next book by this author. Unfortunately, my enjoyment of the book was overshadowed by the narration. Her pitch accents ruined it for me.

BEYOND BORING

Don't waste your time listening. I have nothing good to say about this one.. .

Could not finish. Narrator was terrible, over dramatic and voices that grated. Story was promising, but I honestly was distracted by the narrator voices to really get into the story.
