Valuable tool for self-actualisation
Well written and excellently narrated by Rachel Doolen. This was easy and smooth to listen to and contained a wealth of information. I loved the guided meditations, which I will certainly return to. Everyone should do shadow work in order to gain deeper self awareness. This is an ideal tool to achieve this.

helped me understand
I enjoyed the audiobook very much. it helped me understand a few things about myself that I need to work on. I will go back and listen to some ofthe guided meditations again, that for sure.
The narrator did an excellent job producing this. She kept a nice calm rhythm and clean clear diction through the whole meditation. I would recommend putting on some ambient background sound, then listen while meditating.

Excellent Self-Help Guide
I was given a free copy of this audiobook in exchange for an honest review.
Brace yourself for an introduction into Shadow Work. Felix R. Buchwald brings the shadows of your inner-most feelings to the surface and gives you the tools you need to learn more about yourself. The narrator is especially helpful in the meditation workshops available in this guide. I was curious to learn the concept of Shadow Work, and wasn't disappointed in the outcome. There is so much to learn about you personal journey, and the author provides many ways to help bring positive and constructive resolutions forward. Well-worth the time and effort to investigate what makes you tick.

A great source of self-introspection and discovery
I must admit that self-help audiobooks are not my go-to way of passing the time on commutes, but after listening to Felix Buchwald's Shadow Work for Beginners, I feel it's a solid work that makes you stop and think about the portion of yourself you often neglect. Rachael Doolen's soothing and even-sounding narration and guidance during meditations is a perfect accompaniment to the material. Listen to this one if you want to find inner peace by expanding your sense of self beyond the socially acceptable. You will understand that your "shadow self" is something you should not shun or deny - but embrace.
