Classic SF

Our heroine was grown by an artificial intelligent battleship to act as a impromptu ship Captain. Eventhough this young girl was implanted with memories to function she struggles with survival the human condition and loneliness. Well thought-out book. My only criticism is the second book has yet to be released.

A nice transhuman story.

A good Sci-Fi feature a transhuman protagonist. The story is engaging and entertaining and the author does not reveal to much too soon and I am looking forward to the next installment.

A Great SciFi Contribution to LitRPG

ShipCore is a soft LitRPG space adventure. The main character has a system that she is not always in agreement with and sometimes opposes to make for an interesting take on the system idea. The interplay between the characters is nice in a slice of life kind of way.

One concern, is that this entire book feels a bit like backstory. Things happen, but at the same time the story seems to wander without a real goal. I want to hear the next story, but would like the main characters to have more goals than the next piece of scrap.

Great story

It is a great story. AI built clone meets space marine and all the shenanigans you could want.

Bland start, but had me going

Story started a little bland, and I was afraid that it would remain at the same pace and plot, but near the end they jumped space and that gave a fresh air.
I did not get the LitRPG yet, but I heard that I should expect it in the next book.
My biggest complaint was the characters names. Alice and Alex sound almost the same for me (as I'm a non-English listener). Sometimes it had Alice this, Alex that, Alex that, Alice that, really close and I got confused. I had to stop what I was doing, rewind, close my eyes and focus. I usually listen audiobooks when I'm doing basic tasks (cleaning the house, doing dishes, making grocery, etc) and this was a down for me.
Overall, I will keep following the next ones.

Fun AI sci-fi

I wasn’t sure what I was buying with this. The cover says anime harem. The author name made me think it might be smut. The title leads you to believe it might be a LitRPG dungeon core in space.

It isn’t really any of those it follows a newly awakened ai and their journey. I thought the first 75% could have been a bit better and faster but really enjoyed where it was going at the end.

Space opera not litrpg

I was extremely disappointed with this book because it wasn’t litrpg. The subtitle is misleading. It was however a good space opera. There was no stats no leveling up, but it was a good sci-fi story.

It ended in an odd spot, but overall it was good. The characters could use some more of a character arc as both felt somewhat flat. This feels like a RR to audio story and there wasn’t a true ending nor much tension for a climax.

Waiting for the next book

Totally enjoyed this story. Could not put it down. Narrator was great, descriptions kept it interesting. It seemed as though I was watching a movie. Awaiting the rest of the story. Would definitely recommend .
