Cash and Aspen

Cute Holiday story even if one of them didn't want reminders of the holiday. But Cash is a swoony thoughtful guy and works to make her happy despite her issues.

Loved the additional Novella

Pippa never fails to make me laugh, cry and climb my husband like a monkey!

So much fun!

I absolutely loved this age gap, snowed in for Christmas romance. The hero is an actor and the heroine is a rising star singer. He’s kind of her mentor. She tries to get away over Christmas and he comes to check on her. They both get snowed in. Loved this short, spicy romance. The narrators were dynamite! My only complaint is this book wasn’t long enough. It was well written. The characters had great chemistry. I highly recommend this one!

Double pining love

I loved, loved this landlord-tenant, age gap, snowed in, one bed, double pining romance. This story had the perfect balance of humor, heartwarming love, real life issues, and spice. Cash is a 39 yo famous movie star as well as a former boy band star. Aspen is a 24 yo up and coming pop star who currently has a breakout Christmas song. She hates the holidays. Aspen rents the pool house on Cash’s estate in Malibu. They’ve spent very little time physically together but have texted a lot. They are sort of friends but also harboring secret crushes on each other. When Cash and Aspen get snowed in in a rental cabin in the mountains, their relationship slides from friendship into something more. To get to their HEA, there will need to be some baggage unpacking, truth telling, and leaps of faith after the snuggling for warmth starts. Despite being short, the story was well written and included engaging dialogue, three dimensional characters who grow, and a captivating storyline. I love the Bro Code series and am excited for the last story.

Emma Wilder and Sebastian York did a phenomenal job narrating the story and characters into life with enough change of inflection, tone and cadence to voice multiple characters quite convincingly.

I loved this book! So sweet and fun! Too short though! I can’t wait for Davis’ book next.

Snowed in surprise

Cash Rivers was never a Pippa Grant hero I was clamoring for because so many of her other heroes are bolder and demanding attention. Cash would get mentioned now and then but fade into the background. Now I know why. He was waiting for Aspen and she didn't show up until Cooper Rock got his act together.

This novella was perfection. The narration by Emma Wilder and Sebastian York is top notch. They captured the personalities and vulnerabilities of Aspen and Cash as if they were living the story.

This feels like a "classic" Pippa Grant story and I'm there for it. I loved glimpses of couples and their families from prior stories. Pippa shines when she shows connections and revel in the community she's built. It's comforting. It's what I needed. I think it's what we all needed. Thank you, Pippa.

Fabulous narration

Absolute Perfection

CASH RIVERS HAS FINALLY SPOKEN!! It had seemed like Cash was doomed to forever be a side character and not a main character in the Bro Code Series, but he has finally spoken to Pippa Grant long enough to give us a sweet, almost-holiday themed novella. At least, it would be holiday themed if Aspen didn't hate the holidays, and now she's stuck in a cabin during a snowstorm with her landlord (and crush), Cash Rivers. With adorable cameos from the found family we've come to know and love from all around Copper Valley and Shipwreck, their standalone novella is hilarious and full of sweet moments, and I can't wait to see pops of Cash and Aspen in the future. The audio edition of Snowed in with Mr. Heartbreaker is absolute perfection with Sebastian York and Emma Wilder narrating and bringing Cash and Aspen gold to life. Whether reading the pages or listening to the audio, Cash and Aspen shouldn't be missed!

Perfect Pippa!

I’ll allow it but would have loved a raccoon, maybe a a chipmunk. The lack of animal on a snowy Pippa book seems like a missed opportunity. In all honesty, would have loved to hear 20 more chapters because I love her books that much!

Happily Ever After

This Christmas novella by Pippa Grant is less raucous than many of her other, hilarious romances, but if you are looking for a sweet little Christmas story, this one is terrific. The age gap attraction is believable and the characters are the lovely people we expect from this author. As an added bonus, we get cameos of much-loved characters from past stories.
