These drivers got #swag....

Racing is in her DNA. Right alongside money and power. When you're the daughter of one of the most powerful men in the country, you have to work harder for success. Joey Gamble's a girl on a male-dominated track. With a daddy who can buy whatever she wants. But she doesn't want anything...except to earn her reputation.

Racing is his passion. Trouble follows him everywhere. Some even say he invites it. When you're nipping at the taillights of the best driver in the new NRR, you have to fight and claw for each and every success. It's never been easy for Lorhaven. That's why he doesn't play by the rules. He's a man with a serious chip on his shoulder against the pro racing circuit. We at GearShark want to know what's up with that. We've also been hearing rumblings...of a pro who wants to go indie.

We've invited racing royalty and the driver from the wrong side of the tracks to sit down and talk to us about a possible crossover.

We expected sparks to fly when Joey and Lorhaven crossed paths. Will those sparks ignite into a full-on inferno? Check out the full feature article inside....

maby

many good story, but the narrators butchers it.
the female lead is supposed to be a capable and strong woman, though you would not believe it listening to the narrators performance. I do not know if she didn't reply read the role, if she just really dislikes when women fights for equal rights or what is up, but she whines the whole book through.
the male narrator is a bit better, though not by much. the narration is a bit difficult to follow, as he does not seem to either have different voices for the leading couple or is ignorant about when who says what.

oh well. I might finish it. the story is alright.

so emotional

you know the stories that feel kinda flat? this isn't one of them. I love Jaces respect for her decisions, it's not often you see a (anti) hero saying he DOESN'T want to own the heorine. forfreshing...

loved it

Lorhaven (Jace) and Joey G (Josie) are super hot. I'll admit I didn't go into this book with a whole lot of expectations. But they surprised me at every turn. Joey is such a great underdog story. And I loved watching the bad guy show his good side.
I think its great to see such a strong female lead. She never needs saving. She just needed support.
both narrators knocked it out of the park with their performances.

Love strong independent spirited female

Joey and Lorhaven were a destined item. If there banter and conflict over their chance meeting weren't enough. Then that photo shoot should have sealed the deal for you all the way. They were chemical combustion just waiting for detonation. Joey being who she was she was not treated well. She was the princess of the circuit and thought to have had her place by pure favoritism. Even though she proved herself time and time again. I found depth to Lorhaven. I found he also had his own demons to fight and good reason to want so much to protect his brother. I loved all the cast from previous books of this series and then some. There were a few new faces or not so new but just more of them.

Narration duo did a good job with bring life to the characters and giving them distinction.

I'm All About the Swag

Another book in one of my very favorite series. And I got to watch two characters who I had already met find thier HEA. While I wasn't wow'ed by the narration -hated the voice of Joey- I appreciated the depth of the story. I'm always in awe of an author who can take a protagonist from one book and turn them into the next book's hero. Totally sweet seeing the softer side of these two characters.

Loved it.

What made the experience of listening to #Swag the most enjoyable?

The cover caught my eye when I was browsing for audiobooks and so I took a chance on it.
I've never listened or read anything by Camria Herbert. Needless to say, now I am a fan.
I felt like Joey and Lorhaven were real people which made their hot and heavy romance so much better.
Even more so by the narration from Melissa and Joe, it seemed like they were right next to each other because they matched up so perfectly together, I believed they were Joey and Lorhaven.
I hope to hear more from this duo and will be checking out more from the author.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

No, it was too long for one sitting.

Fast paced and emotional

I love a good set of strong characters. I also love a good set of vulnerable characters. This story had both and both were written so well!

A girl in a guys world, that’s what Joey is. It was cool getting to see her learn to trust people…sad that she felt she couldn’t.

Jace…nice to see that he was multi faceted. Loyal and protective.

I love the strong friendships and the second chances.

The narrators did a great job bringing this book to life.
