Down 35 lbs so far.

At the age of 60, it's challenging to lose weight. However, I am down 35 lbs following this plan. I lost 15 in the first month and almost a pound a week after that. More importantly, there have been some dramatic changes to my health which I started to notice two weeks in. I couldn't walk a quarter mile without a backache but now 3 miles is a breeze. My hands and feet are no longer swollen, my psoriasis has disappeared along with occasional neuropathy. Some of the hair in my beard has even ungrayed.

This plan isn't a walk in the park but its something I think I can sustain for years. Other diets I tried were just too hard to do forever.

l like this diet

I believe that the fast diet is more effective and efficient for most of people who is busy and don't have time to commit to restrict diet like counting calories all the time is something really difficult.

Made for an easy conversion to a healthy life

What did you love best about The FastDiet?

There are many small nuggets of information that just makes normal sense after its been explain is terms that one can reference. Dr Mosley provides a simple easy method for the normal person to start living a healthier life..

What was one of the most memorable moments of The FastDiet?

He brought a real meaning of fat storage and how it works and one aspect of why fasting is an essential tool to the road to a healthy life.

Any additional comments?

We are finally getting solid advice from MD in areas that traditionally are not and would not be discussed even 10 years ago. My Dr still today refuses to work with me even after my sugar levels have dropped into manageable levels (80 to 90). I ask him if he was getting kick backs from the big farm and he said no but his insurance does not let him go outside the main stream, Our heath care is broken.. While I did not loose my weight on just based on this books information it gave me the insight needed to go on and learn more. I have lost 35 pounds and my BMI is on the first 20% of the scale and still loosing.

Fasting good first read.

quick and easy as a first step to fasting. This was the 2nd book Iistened to on fasting. I enjoyed the brevity and clear direction of this book.

The testimonials herein would suggest that at the end of the day, limiting calories is what causes you to lose weight😉 who knew?

Lose weight, really

I lost 5 pounds after two fasts. Really makes you want to keep going. It is not like fasting. It is like eating minimally. I can do this.

Understandable content, great narration, Choose this Audio thank me later

Would you listen to The FastDiet again? Why?

Actually, yes. Which is strange because this is a nonfiction diet book. But it was very interesting and enjoyable. I could probably pick up a few facts and tips that I missed the first time around.

What about Michael Mosley and Mimi Spencer ’s performance did you like?

I was amazed at how good the narrators were considering that they were the Actual authors of this non-fiction book. Especially Mimi Spencer. She could start a new career as a narrator if she Wished. And Michael Mosley read clearly and slowly enough to understand him.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

Diet books don't usually make me laugh or cry, getting on the scale does though. (Cry)

Any additional comments?

I have read many books on intermittent fasting and this was one of the better ones because it did not go into too much detail with the science of it. It gave you just enough science to understand. Another helpful thing was it gave you a lot of tips on how to approach doing this Fasting protocol. It also had emails and twitters which were real testimonials of people who tried the fast diet and had had success with it. I enjoyed this, it was very pleasant to listen to, I just started the fast today and I highly recommend the audiobook. I wish you good luck on the fast and please wish me good luck. Holly

Yes great listening. I use in the car since I am on the road a lot.
