Publisher's summary

From New York Times best-selling author Kami Garcia, a contemporary romance full of loss, love, and redemption.

She used to care about being the good girl.

Haunted by the memory of her boyfriend's death, Frankie Devereux lives her life by one dangerous rule: nothing matters. But she crosses the line with a reckless choice that forces her to move in with her dad - an overprotective cop - and transfer to a new school. When Frankie meets Marco, a tough street racer who is risking everything for his family, things get complicated.

He wasn't always the bad boy.

Everyone says Marco Leone is trouble. But at Frankie's new school, where fistfights in the halls don't faze anyone and illegal street racing is more popular than football, Marco is also the fastest (and hottest) guy around. As their attraction grows, Frankie can't seem to stay away from him - until she discovers Marco's dangerous secret.

Your own heart will race in every chapter of this heart-stopping star-crossed love story.

Omg!!!

This book was so good and it was a great summer read. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a love story without the typical rom-com plot line.

Average read

I've been looking forward to read this book, specially after all the hype it got from several social media's ..I picked it up expecting suspenseful romantic book that will keep me at the edge of my seat, unfortunately that wasn't the case at all.. while I did like Frankie's character I have so much issues with the way she thinks and how she fell for Marco ( literally after one day of meeting) their relationship didn't make sense to me and I wanted to get more of the transition phase from the how broken they both were to helping each other out .. the ending was nice but I felt the book was so average and I expected something more

if you like this book I suggest you check out ( Pushing the Limits by Katie McGarry ) it is very much the same

Ehh

I didn't really find anything very interesting or memorable about this book. It was a bit boring and it took me a while to get through it.

It wasn't terrible, but wasn't great either.

Really wish that Kami Garcia hadn't put off the 3rd book in the legion series to write this one, because I cant wait to see what happens in that series!
