Publisher's summary

The Other Brother is a small-town second chance romance that can be listened to as a stand-alone romantic comedy. See why readers are falling in love with these blue-collar heroes.

I got the call. The dreaded call every child fears. My dad wasn't well, and the man who had always been my everything needed me. There was only one thing to do: pack up and head back to my small hometown. I had finally made my dream life in the city, with the great job and loving boyfriend. But was there really a choice not to go?

I found a wonderful job and a quaint house to rent; my boyfriend is working on joining me in Binghamton, and my favorite pizza place is only miles away. Life is good. Until I meet my neighbor. It's been three years since I've seen Aaron Walters, and my God is he all kinds of sexy gorgeous. Figures. He was supposed to be my forever, the man I grew old with, but he had different plans. How can a man who ripped my heart apart still trip me up? How can he make me still want him now more than ever?

I'm tempted, I'm drawn toward him, I'm completely and utterly unaware that I'm dating his biological brother.

Now two men own my heart. The question is, which brother will I choose?

Amazing

Arron is one smart man. But he has confidence issue that stem from his childhood. Amelia is a smart string woman. Who moves home to be close to her ailing dad. They have a complicated past and an even more complicated present. Could not wait to see where the story would go.

Great Series

Loved it. Really enjoyed the fact that no one ended up pregnant in the series. I get so sick of that being the plot in other romances. This was refreshing.

Angsty

I like the book but it was so angsty. I knew it had a happy ending but I was worried for a minute

Book 4 in series

Aaron has had it rough all his life, some of which he's created for himself. His past regrets come back to haunt him when his ex moves in next door. Amelia returns to her hometown to take care of her ailing father. She's thown back into the past when her temporary landlord is none other than her ex, Aaron, who broke her heart before she left for college. Aaron sets out on a journey to win her over and win her back, but Amelia has a boyfriend and it's one that can be the final blow to Aaron's painful past.
The story was a mix of comedy, tragedy, regret, and drama. While I found some of the scenes somewhat a bit on the immature side, I have to remember the age of the characters and how the story is considered a ROMCOM so it still has to remain on the lighter side.
I really did enjoy the narrators with this book. Rock Engle and McKenzie Harte were believable as Aaron and Amelia's characters.

Narration ruined it.

Narrators were different than previous books in this series, but still the same issue. The voices are too old for the age of the characters which ruins the audiobook for me.
