Fun listen

Fun story to get dropped into. I feel like it would have been better if I had some more context before listening to this one. But the premise is good. The main character is well written love the way he makes fun of the many “sides” to him self.

I did enjoy this story but...

The phrase that was constantly thrown in the dialogue and ending way too many sentences "...in this fallen world"...by the last story I was shaking my fist every time I heard that stupid phrase. I can see once but my goodness, it was stupid annoying. I was going to listen to the rest but am not sure I can handle hearing that phrase. I think reading them would be much better so I could just ignore it.
other than that, the story was great!

This was entertaining and free

The main character is not in other of his books as far as I can tell. It's made in the same world. For this reason I won't buy more because I want to here more and can't. You should consider these long stories with different stars.

Better than expected

I love this story line. Especially the idea of multiple personalities with each having there own special gifts. How one man can grow and learn love and loss. His younique journey kept me listening. Now on to the next.

Fantastic original story

I love an author and a book that can take me to a world that I could never have imagined on my own. The characters are great. The comical banter kept me chuckling for hours as we walked through a dark and desperate world.

I can’t wait to read more of this story.

Excellent story!

I rarely review Audible books, but this one deserves a great review, for a great story!
I’ve listened to all sorts of post-apocalypse books and have enjoyed some, hated others. This series (so far) is excellent! The author does a great job of immersing the listener in a world of decay, death and darkness. But all the while focusing the listener on the good people left and finding justice in “this fallen world”. Also, I must say the narrator does an excellent job with changing voices so you know who’s speaking without being told. Great job!

Well written

The storyline is pretty good and will keep your attention. I look forward to book two.

Outstanding take on a post nuclear war America.

More fun than any other post apocalyptic I have read. The main character of the first two stories is excellent and has just scratched the surface of his story potential.

Reminiscent of Fallout, but better

In the heart of The city arises a reluctant hero with a troubled past. But my review can't do this book justice. Best post apocalypse book I've read to date.

Great entertainment

It's definitely more original than anything I've been reading lately! The main character Cade, loosely reminds me of the main character from a 1980s sci-fi movie called Nemesis. It's not a rip off of that movie by any stretch, just some similarities. Definitely recommend if you like a little saifi action. I'll be continuing with the series!
