A trip back into pre-war Singapore
An Asian woman is found dead in the dock area. Not an unusual event in pre-war Singapore nor one the colonial authorities wish to worry about but this one leads to a trail of espionage, betrayal, murder and treason. More Max Betancourt please!

Marvelous Historical Crime Fiction
I'm sure this will end up one of my Favorite books of the year. Absolutely Terrific. It gave me a chance to learn a bit about pre-war Singapore as a British colony as well as the troubles non English subjects encountered from those who felt they were there to rule.
Great Characters.
