Growing up in the day and age where mental health was taboo and not often spoken about, she felt confined, lost and trapped. After 3 years of therapy, many combinations of anti-depressants, she now feels like she is understanding herself. There is plenty more to learn and discover which is why on Mondays she will be here sharing her story, hearing from others and a range of professionals to learn, educate and grow.     happy best day of the week, MHM!

    Sorry for being absent for the past two weeks- I had family visiting and was focused on being present .. then I got the flu. The flu knocked me on my ass and caused a huge set back for myself and care. I felt like I was in such a good place mentally and physically to being sick in bed for a week, not taking my medication and vitamins, having no energy and being a MESS. I am having such a hard time restarting and getting back to my best self so I finally made a plan. Tune in to this episode to find out how I plan to tackle this setback.

    I have been so incredibly anxious lately and it has affected my sleep immensely. Either I struggle to fall asleep or I wake up at 2 am every night for hours on end. Typically I go on my phone when I am anxiously struggling to sleep but I have experimented with a few new healthy mind distractions this week. In this episode talk about my favorites, what worked for me and what hasn't worked.
