Always need new ideas for vegan/vegetarian meals. Great source book. great book. plenty of recipes to keep you entertained. Easy to find ingredients.

Tailored for meal prep.

Good food but not simple at all. Every recipe seems to call for soaking overnight or using a sauce from the book which takes extra time. It is in no way shape or form simple meals unless you modify and skip the sauce or spice but than where's the flavor? If you want to make food when you are hungry this is a frustrating book. It is more for meal prep planned out days ahead.

Very cool book!

This is a very cool book. The recipes have left us all feeling absolutely terrific, and I was pleasantly surprised by the yumminess level. It’s pretty darn tasty for an athletic performance book! I only put somewhere between 5-10 miles on my sneakers a day, but this has all been fabulous fuel. They have a few sample recipes up on their website, so you can give them a try and see if they’re a good fit for you. Love it when they do that! The recipes are all on the quick and easy end of the spectrum. It’s more than a cook book, though. They explain the whys behind everything. Recommend.

Get this one asap

This is a must have-not only for beginners but for people already on board with WFPB eating. Gabriel makes everything so clear & easy to understand. The recipes are tasty (I've tried several already) & simple to make which is a plus. Add this one to your library. You won't be sorry.

Excellent book for anyone serious about health

Whether a serious athlete or someone just looking to become or stay healthy, this is a great book. Not just full of recipes but lots of advice and information. I have read many books about healthy living and this is one of the best whether you are vegan or not. It's a book for everyone

I Love this book

The book has a great section at the front outlining all the latest research on plant based nutrition in an easy to digest fashion. Although the book is called no meat athlete, the recipes are definitely not just for those who love to exercise (although I do and they are great for that) it works well as a family cook book and we cook from this book a couple of time every week and our 5 & 7 year old love the meals from this book.

Great cookbook with normal ingredients!

I absolutely love this cookbook! It has tons of great recipes with ‘normal’ ingredients that most people actually keep on hand. Plus the recipes are pretty easy and quick to prepare which is great for my active lifestyle when I don’t have hours and hours to spend everyday cooking. Also, I love that this book has lots of photos of the foods. For me, that is a big thing in a cookbook when I see a photo and it looks amazing, if course it makes me want to cook it more then just seeing the ingredients. I bought 3 vegan cookbooks so far and this one is by far my favorite so I highly recommend it to anyone even if you aren’t vegan!
