He’ll partner with Velas, but she has her own problems to deal with, including a revelation that will test where her loyalties truly lie.

Fun and exciting adventure

My biggest complaint is that there was not more of it. Well worth the listen.

So hype!

I started this universe in the middle and had to go back to the beginning just to work my way back up. The progression has me totally invested! Already moving on to the next book asap! ❤

Totally loved it!

The book is Great. The series is Great. The narrator is Great. I love it all.

The only complaint I have, and it's a small one, is the names. I find several of the names to be too close to each other, not to mention that everyone seems to have several, it gets a tiny bit confusing.

Great book

So i’m torn on the rating. It’s a great book and series but the fight scene towards the end gets albeit ridiculous. Kind of like Dragon Ball Z or Naruto where the fights just invent new ways to continue. The next series gets better though. I read them out of order and that one is better.

pulls you in

the narration is awsome. all the a few frustrating moments pop they are limited to slight over explanations or problems that could be solved had the characters just spoken to each other more.

that being said these books are amazing and draw you in I felt a connection to every main character and most side characters. the authors ability to answer questions with questions is reflective of real life and so is the main point of the stories I can't actually point out which plot was the main one because of the smoothe life like transition of one goal to the next. I found myself wanting to know so much more about all the plots and characters that I've decided to check out the other 2 series that are "related" to this one and im hoping im not disappointed. I will edit my review once I've checked both out to address how similar or not they are.

Defying Destiny

This is probably the best of series. His writing & work seemed to improve on each book, or maybe he planned it that way. By far my favorite thing of series AND WHY I Bought in first place was Nick P., is a MASTERFUL story teller. The voices he brings are amazing.
While I didn’t give 5 star this was a good story and very different writing style I’m glad i was exposed. I will consider his other works if Nick reads them!!

Fantastic author, narrator, story, characters, etc. Listening to SAM again now. And yes, too tired to come up with a 15 word review that does this justice.

… It’s not easy for me to admire any character in a novel, much less the best and worst of them. And yet, I’m not surprised, well maybe a little, I mean it took me long enough. : )

this series seems to to just get better in all aspects charector depth action magical theory so impressed such a great escape.

Aggrivatingly amazing

impatiently awaiting the continuation of the following storyline and the reunion of the characters and how it will end.

Evident Improvement

This is the 3rd listen I've had into the Mithralis world. Having started with the Arcane Ascension Series and followed that up with Six Sacred Swords then listening to War of Broken Mirrors 3rd i must say that the growth Andrew goes through as a writer is astounding in the best way. I feel like it's not something you might notice if you read them in chronological order. The entire world Andrew had created is in depth and original and I've loved every moment of travel through Mithralis.
