Let me start by saying that I was on the end of my seat listening to this one! I had to stop my audiobook to do a family thing and it was right at THAT scene and I spent the entire day thinking about these characters, I felt like I left them in the middle of a big thing and they were stuck fighting until I came back lol. I couldn't believe the direction this story took and was a little upset about it at first but I know it made this more realistic because of it. Great book! Can't wait to start book 3!

Not your normal 2nd in the series zombie book

Sometimes, I don't know what you are supposed to say in the critique of a book. You don't want to give the plot away, so to stay safe, I stay away from the plot. Anyway, I loved this book as much as the first. There are lots of characters and difficult to keep up with, but still an excellent zombie book.

Can't stop listening to this series

Although the story line is nothing new (end of the world, zombies etc) the characters and performance are so engaging I could not stop listening!! Julia Whelan is an incredible performer, I'll listen to just about any book she does! Love this series, def recommend

WOW....I can't put into words just how good this series is. All three books will keep your attention and wanting more. You will definitely want to listen to the again and they are worth the price. Loved, loved, loved it......

Excruciatingly Good

This series is very good! If you like TWD and the zombie Apocalypse genra you'll love these! It'll have you ranting and raving, laughing and crying! A must listen.

What made the experience of listening to And After the most enjoyable?

Great narrater
Such a clever story line, great characters. I am relavtivly new to this genre after spending the last 5 years reading strong female lead paranormal stories. I could not stop listening it is just a totally new take on end of the world, zombie human resiliance.

I find the story line so compelling the characters really come alive and you want to know what happens to them next

What does Julia Whelan bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

I have always liked her narration, she bring dimension to the characters. slightly different accents.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

All of the above.I cried when one of the characters dies, everyone at work thought I was mad when I turned up red eyed.
I could not help laughing at some of the character comments and the way the author explains why us humans do they things we do in tight situations
