This book was recommended to me by a colleague, and I was not disappointed. Mr. Connors outlines, in the simplest of terms, what must be done to experience happiness in all areas of life. Implementing the principles outlined in this book may not be easy, but it's simple. Connors does an excellent job to point out the characteristics of below-the-line thinking, and shows the steps to defeat it. I didn't realize until I heard this book how much of my own time and energy I was still wasting blaming outside circumstances for my own problems instead of taking control to confront them head on. If you're not open to self-change, you will likely find this book to be a waste of your time, but if you are, it provides a great foundation to begin.

Straight and to the Point

I felt this book was a breath of fresh air during a time when employer/employee relationships are at an all time low with Covid-19. It's wonderful to see a new approach to using accountability to hold yourself responsible for the choices in your career as well as a stepping stone to pave the way for constructive criticism rather than allowing it to feel like falling down a dark hole. I wish I had found this book years ago and I look forward to the next book and chapters to come. I enjoyed the narrator and felt he articulated most areas of the book in a professional manner. Some times we perceive words to be pronounced in a different manner however I try never to get caught up on those and instead move forward keeping with the content and purpose of the book than how a word is spoken.

Recommended to family and friends as I found it to be very informative and learned even more of myself and others.

Highly recommend

This is a great book if you are new to the principles of proactivity. It is a bit repetitive if you are familiar with those principles.

Good way to think! Simple way to view things!
