What a surprise

I was hesitant to start this as it's a high school setting and I am LONG past high school. However after seeing so many glowing reviews I went for it. It's a good story that you really don't focus on their ages as much. Ready for book 2! Narration was awesome, but I wanted Shane more:)

Oh the angst!!

Wow!! This took enemies to lovers to a whole new level. I was not sure how I was going to feel about Aidan when he first turns his attention to Elsa. But holy hotness!! I cannot wait to see what happens next!

This was even better than what I thought! The suspense of what happened to Elsa when she was young! Have to start next book right away!

The performance AND story are outstanding

When the narrator says sweetheart, I get so excited and dizzy and smile so wide. It’s so good and the story part ended so unpredictable for me .. I really wonder how the author comes up with all this. I can’t believe there are really men like this. It would be so exciting.

This Book is Insanely Well Written, I was on the Edge of My Seat The Entire Time because My Mind is/was Clouded in the Mystery & Suspense.

Overall Appeal of the Book: 5/5
Heat: 3.5-4ish/5, not bad at all. It fits perfectly with the pacing of this book. This is a Trilogy after all and this IS Book 1.
Romance: 2.5/5, again not bad at all, I’m glad this is not at all a Insta-Love, But I Did definitely felt SOMETHING there!
The Suspense is Killing Me! Lol

Dark: This Rating is for the undertone in this book its definitely shrouded in darkness, and also some of the Hinted things I Cannot Spoil! Lol

I Have Read Levi’s Book -Cruel King- in the Bully Anthology, and was Very Impressed With That Read As Well.
I will most definitely read another series by this Author!
