I loved the banter between the characters

It was a little hard at times to tell which character was talking. But I like the rock star love stories. A girl can dream.

Beautiful story! Slow Slow Burn...

No 3rd act breakup, more conflicting ethics than angst. The spice was hot! And a little surprising 😉. I very much enjoyed this book, read it in a day. The MCs are fully developed and honestly, hard not to crush on either one.

Don't pass this one by. it's really good.

A fan of the j j arias

I have been fan of Ms Arias for years and this story didn't disappoint. I love this story that shows that love can conquer the big issues.

brilliant start to the trilogy

loved the story via book and the audio was fantastic! narrator brought Adri and Roxy to life and I couldn't be more excited about book 2 now. 5 stars!

Slow Burn Sapphic Romance

A sweet, slow burn sapphic romance with steam and spice. This is the first book in the Dominion Series.
I enjoyed the writing style even though it was a slow slow burn lol. Lots of building of sexual tension as the story of Roxxxy and Adriana unfolds.
The narration is very good and her voice is perfect for this book.

Narration is sleep inducing

Tried listening on a 10hr drive and the narrator was so breathy throughout, that it made me extremely sleepy and difficult to focus on the story. It was distractingly breathy. Thought maybe I was just tired and tried to finish it on the drive home. Nope. No dice. Girlfriend ended up reading it to us and we finished it on the drive home. Every character had the same breathy affect. Meanwhile, Guava Flavored Lies was a brilliant story with perfect narration. Coello used a variety of inflections to depict the various character's distinct personalities. Was expecting the same here. I already pre-purchased the second book in this series and I'll give it a try because I love J.J.'s writing but not excited if the narration is the same, breathy, one-note.

Great characters

I loved this book and I looking forward to reading the other two books in the series. I loved how the relationship between the two MC's built over time but the sparks were there.
