Husbands to be

Maddox and Devon had been together for a year. Things were okay ish until they weren’t. Maddox got locked up for a crime he didn’t commit. Devon’s dad came back. Their brothers started having something happening.
Book 2 tosses you into the pits, the yearning, almost heart break. The come back. Absolutely worth it.

Love their crazy love. I could not help but cheer for their happiness. their relationship is crazy and they made me laught.

This was a 2025 reread for me, and this time I listened to the newly released audiobook and wow, hearing Lot 62 brought to life by Brandon Francis and Gabriel Michael made the whole experience hit differently. These narrators are Maddox and Devon. Their voices capture the sharp edges, the quiet desperation, and the obsessive love between these two in a way that somehow makes the story feel even more intimate and intense.

And okay, I have to mention Chapter 10...the scene at the fairgrounds. Hearing Maddox in that moment? Absolutely sent me. I was laughing so hard. It was funny when I read it the first time, sure, but getting to hear it...with all the need and chaos and that slightly feral Maddox energy was a whole new level. I had to pause the audio just to cackle properly.

But beyond the humor, the story still packs a punch. Life after Garron Park doesn’t magically get easier. Maddox and Devon are navigating the mess of their reality, sharing a tiny trailer, dealing with trauma, and trying to protect what they’ve built even as outside threats close in. They’re codependent, probably a little toxic, but fiercely in love. And somehow, that love is their lifeline.

If you’ve read Garron Park, don’t miss the chance to experience Lot 62 on audio. It brings a whole new layer of emotion, humor, and heart.

I thought I had reviewed this one already…but the way I love this series is crazy. The Narrators are amazing, they get Maddox and Devon’s personalities and the way their conflict breeds their love and passion. It’s been a comfort read since it was released - now it’s a comfort listen.

I can listen to this series over and over and over again

I am so excited I have one book left of this series but I started tearing up saying goodbye to Devon and Maddox for now. This will always be my absolute favorite enemies to lovers story and my go to read. Thank you Nordika for sharing this story with us.
