Story
It has been thousands of years since beast-kind were united under one banner. The empire encompasses most of the known world, driving out or enslaving the lesser races without mercy. In a state of constant war and conquest, they have perfected the art of battle. For commoner wolf-kind Valian, being accepted and trained in a noble house's army was a dream come true. Without wealth or a family, it was his best shot at attaining honor and glory. Until fate intervened. When Valian discovers he's descended from an ancient and long-thought-extinct line, everything changes.

A world on the precipice of the apocalypse. A secret forged in the flames of war. A chance to start over. For John Sutton, only one of those three things matters. Retired from a decade of brutal war, he wants nothing more than a quiet pastoral life while he does his best to stem the steady increase of his Doom Points before they hit 100, signaling the start of the end. He’s been given a small farm on the outskirts of the empire as a thanks for his service, but no matter how far he travels, it's impossible to escape the war's devastating effects on the world.

Story
A thousand years have passed since a dragon has been seen in the world. Science and technology have replaced magic, which has dwindled until it has become little more than an element of myth and legend. There are those who still have dragon blood flowing through their veins, distant descendants of the mighty creatures of old. These rare humans have the power to cast magic, the power to heal, and the power to craft alchemical weapons capable of starting wars...or ending them.

Publisher's summary
Peace is impossible while the family survives.
As the Northern Alliance threatens the Stormwind's power, the family retaliates, forcing the rulers of the Petty Kingdoms to bend to their will. Hoping to finally end the family's influence, Athgar and Natalia travel to Abelard for a secret meeting, striking a deal for the future of Therengia.
With a bold plan to destroy the Volstrum, they must cross Zaran, where the brave vanish and the foolhardy lose their minds. Is there truth in the stories of dangerous beasts, or are they just tales meant to frighten children?
Struggling through the wilderness, with danger threatening at every turn, they seek solace in the knowledge that their sacrifice will lead to a future without strife. Only when they discover a secret long lost to the annals of history do they see a beacon of hope.
The end is coming—a titanic clash of the most powerful mages on the Continent.
Witness the ultimate confrontation in Cataclysm, Paul J. Bennett's epic conclusion to The Frozen Flame series. New to the series? Get to know Athgar and Natalia in their origin stories, Into the Fire and The Awakening, then pick up book one, Ashes to learn how they met!

Three months ago, Tansy Bloom quit monster hunting. Since then, she’s been trying to live a normal life (whatever that means), but ending up single, unemployed, and living on a boat outside her godfather’s pub definitely wasn’t part of the plan. So, when Tansy’s ex-husband – fellow monster hunter Rex Barclay – turns up like a bad penny and asks for her help with his latest investigation, Tansy reluctantly agrees. At first, the job appears to be a straightforward monster hunt – following a spate of large creature sightings, Rex believes a werewolf is on the loose in Norfolk.

Story
The Orca Job was supposed to set them all up for life, but it did not go according to plan. They lost their money, they lost their ship, and some of them lost their lives—the survivors scattering in a storm of recriminations. Ten years later, no one is who they were...and some are not what they seem. But Strange's son, Cayce, wants to put the gang back together to rescue his father, currently held captive. As if uniting the club isn't enough of a challenge, they also need major resources, and the only way they know how to acquire them is by falling into old habits.

During the test flight of a prototype faster-than-light craft, Lt. Commander Ky is flung into an ancient past that never existed. Rome has fallen, defeated by the mighty Carthaginian Empire, its survivors chased off the continent and onto what had been the remote province of Britannia. Hunter was just a normal average guy. Then he died. That's when the problems started. For one, he wasn't heading for heaven. He was on a one-way trip to the other place. Secondly, an angel literally pulled him from the brink of Hell and gave him a choice: Go straight to Hell, don't pass go, don't collect $200. Or, be put inside the body of an alternate version of himself on a completely different Earth where magic, not technology, rules, and get a chance to redeem his soul.
