Nathan Tyler is an unassuming professor at a middling American university with a rather obscure specialty in mathematics—in short, a nobody from nowhere. So why is the White House calling? Tess Strebel can’t recognize her own face. She can’t recognize her home. Her bedroom is unfamiliar. And she can’t remember the handsome stranger lying next to her in bed. A stranger who claims he’s her husband. Tess reads a letter in her own handwriting, composed during a rare lucid day, explaining her life as it now exists: she was in a terrible car accident one year ago. Jazz Bashara is a criminal. Well, sort of. Life on Artemis, the first and only city on the moon, is tough if you're not a rich tourist or an eccentric billionaire. So smuggling in the occasional harmless bit of contraband barely counts, right? Not when you've got debts to pay and your job as a porter barely covers the rent. Everything changes when Jazz sees the chance to commit the perfect crime, with a reward too lucrative to turn down.

Story
A werewolf is preying upon the denizens of a small town. The only people who know what it is, who understand what is happening, are children. A group of third-graders isn't exactly the most credible source of information, especially when it comes to the fantastical. They grow up being ridiculed, shunned, bullied, and mistreated by their peers and the broader community. Years later, it returns, but this time, Thomas and his friends are prepared for it. As grown werewolf hunters, they must use every bit of courage they have to face the monster. Nothing short of killing it will suffice.

They discover that Muck Hollow was deserted for a reason, and some campfire tales may have more than a shred of truth to them... A creature feature with 80s camp slasher vibes.

Computer voice is terrible
Computer generated voice made a very good story mediocre. No emotion whatsoever. Also, i think i counted the word “baby” 200,000 times. Too much and got annoying. Other than those things, the story was good

great story
loved , loved , this book. the only thing I would change would be a real narrator instead of a.i. . it's better to build horror and suspense. first piece of werewolf media in years that I have loved.

Fun and fast paced werewolf story
I would love to see this turned into a movie. it would translate to the big screen well. The virtual voice on this one wasn't bad at all, I don't feel like it pulled me out of the story at all.

For werewolf fans
I listened to this one blindly and absolutely enjoyed it. the writing was excellent and the story was thrilling. The only downside was that the book wasn't read by a human reader.

The story leaves a lot unsaid.
The story leaves a lot unsaid as the history of something, here being a beast. It doesn't include beauty and the beast as it would be told historically. Some how you lose the depth of the way people do people wrong, and you only get this extremely ethical, self responsible lost savior perspective. It leaves out where did the beast come from, and hints that it is a beast and that their are other ones' out there. Some stories have this way of a singular vision, its because they didn't have the ability to entirely overcome their oppression. People die little by little everyday in the struggle to survive. This story is about a social group of people who had so much chaos/lack of leadership to their lives they almost couldn't fight something as a group. The predation of some sort has stopped them from communicating effectively to work together. It is a little "silence of the lambs" lamb story of people in a greater world that is not described here., So it is this savior mentality of the 2 young men who no one even liked because of how they thought they were losers and druggies that were bad people, that saved their lives and the day.
Overall if your able to have some knowledge of whats going on you can understand a little. It leaves you in a mid-story situation, wondering what happened before this, whats going to happen later if they said their were more of them? it follows that incomplete theme through the whole story. So just write a series of book enjoy the writing process, get creative, be expressive, get lost in the world of this book!

Why to kill a child???
This whole story was set to kill a child. Group of werewolves going to feast on a child. Sorry I had to skip through some chapters. The Ai voice was okay. The story was a downer for me.
