About this listen

#1 Amazon Bestseller

New York Timesand USA Todaybestselling author Nicholas Sansbury Smith pulls the surviving divers into another heart-stopping adventure in Hell Divers XI: Renegades.

The secret location of the Vanguard Islands is no longer a secret …

Tired from years of fighting, Xavier passes the crown to a younger Hell Diver, Kade Long, and then sets off on the Sea Wolf with Magnolia to find Michael and his family. But the journey will push them both to their limit.

On the damaged airship Vanguard, Michael and crew are running out of water and must dive to a new location before attempting the perilous voyage across the Atlantic to a new home.

Back at the Vanguard Islands, King Kade hurries to prepare the rigs’ defenses against the Forerunner and his Knights of the Coral Castle. Fearing that X won’t return with the airship in time, Kade sends the elite Barracudas on a mission to find aircraft that will give the islands a fighting chance against the knights.

In the penultimate Hell Divers book, the survivors travel skewed and far-flung paths, but soon those paths will converge. The journey is almost over, so strap in for the last dives!

But how to pick just 100 of these unique and immersive listening journeys? GREAT BOOK THAT LEAVES YOU WANTING MORE!!!

This is another great book in the long line of great ones that make up this series. Hopefully it won't be too long until the next one comes out, (SPOLLER ALERT) I hope that X is able to find Tin before him and his team set out on their dangerous journey instead of after so that he can go with them to save the world. Mr. NSS Keep up the great work on this series and your other wonderfully interesting works that you've created, thx for all of the Journeys.

Great but now we gotta wait

Thought this may have been the end of the series but luckily for us that is not so. Even though it left on a cliff hanger it was a good one that wraps this book up and sets up the next. Can’t wait for the next one, RC Bray kills it as usual.

About what I was expecting

okay let me start by saying I am a huge fan this series. But, there are certain things that are starting to wear on me. People making rash decisions without thinking of any consequences is the main one. everyone's always going around looking for somebody without thinking of implications. Every single time X leaves the metal islands, something bad happens and he always says I shouldn't have left. Yet he continues to do it over and over!!! How many times can he leave and everything goes the hell can we do? How many times can people just go looking for somebody and screaming their name over and over. I like the book and I like the story and I'll buy the next one but, let's have a different story arc than those same things that keep happening over and over. And you would think once they could pronounce a country's name right or a city's name right. Even the intelligent AIs don't know how to pronounce Panama? were they loaded incorrectly with the wrong data? I mean I get it's supposed to be that they don't know how to pronounce it but you would think one would just be pronounced correctly just by luck, And you would definitely think that a computer designed before all this happened would know how to pronounce country's names correctly. Maybe it's nitpicking but these little things bother me. I won't even go into boats and planes working so far into the future without being sheltered because without that suspension of disbelief this book won't happen. That one we just have to go with or else none of this story can take place. But computers from 200 years ago don't know how to pronounce a name of a country? Come on.

renegade review

I like the story and rc bray has a really good voice for narrations. but it seems like the flash back to the machine camp could be it's own book. instead of rolled into this one.
