Scott is a master of character design and making the reader love them.
Love the story line, the loads and loads of violence. The unlighted people we are get to see the real world. Do you have what it takes to live with the monsters around us?

A new series and another home run for Sigler
As a fan of Sigler’s other work I was very interested in the first book of a new series. As usual with his books, you’re immediately drawn in with the action and then want to stick around for the multi-dimensional characters and a story that keeps you guessing right up to the last page.

John Wick meets Harry Potter
This is an awesome story with a fresh take on a magical realm. I'm very excited to hear where this series takes us next! Twist ending was spectacular!

FANTASTIC HIGH BROW MODERN FANTASY
Scott Sigler is... for all intent and purposes, a modern day bard. his story telling abilities are second to none. His chops run the gamut, from futuristic space/sports sci-fi, genetic mutation sci-fi, straight monster horror, and now high fantasy meets seedy, dangerous high stakes underbelly stuff.
The man in Gray is a fantastic character, full of depth, and the supporting characters are excellent. Sigler's narrative abilities are showcased once again as well, with each character having a unique voice. He's just fantastic. I can't wait for the rest of this series!

Well done.
Well done Scott as always. Very rare is it that I enjoy damn near everything an author puts out. This bring a book that was written weekly, I'd say it set the bar even higher. BTW, the ending was *chef's kiss*.

He’s back!
Scott is back again with another gritty story with a blend of genre’s and enjoyable character developments.
Even better this time, he’s back voicing! Since the story was started like one of his classic weekly casts developed and released in episodes, this version has some slight changes and corrections and the audio is cleaner than the original cast so it was a pleasure to enjoy the story again refined and smooth.
Currently enjoying season/book/volume 2 right now and can’t get enough.
Keep up the great work Scott, looking forward to the Crypt book 2.

The Second Time Around
No, I'm note rating and reviewing a Shalimar song. I picked this up first because Scott is one of my favorite authors. But I've known from experience, that I can listen to his work over and over again. But I thought as I usually do, is put some space between the listening. And the podcasts were still fresh in my head, so Iwould wait.
But I thought let me give the first chapter a listen. Thirteen hours later it sounded like the first time. Bravo FDO. I can't wait until Slay 2 hits Audible.
