Poorly narrated

Would you try another book from Blaze Ward and/or Matt Weight?

I enjoyed the story of the first two a lot, and that does give B.W. some line, but this book was not as good in story and the narration is poor. I might give B.W one more chance, but especially the poor narration means this will only happen if I am unable to find any other book to listen to at that time.

How did the narrator detract from the book?

The narration is monotone and with a tempo set by a metronome. Poor acting from Matt Weight means the characters are harder to separate in your mind, especially when the story is so short and new ones are published with considerable time between them. All characters sound the same as M.W. does not vary his tone.

Considering the hefty price (1 credit) for a 3 hour book, I would at least expect a better narration. There are plenty of great actors preforming other scifi books to choose from.
