enjoyable

really slow progress but it does have potential to be a really good series. just needs to pick up it I had like 7 hours left and they finally got into the dungeon. not much progress so there is a story there. the characters are likable majority of them there are some new characters it's better than the first one. not by much. Definitely will get the next one

Come on man!

The series has a lot of potential, and the story is moving along pretty good, but if I have to continuously listen to how lock feels about his daughter's being put in a dangerous situation again and again I'll probably bounce. The world has changed move on already before I do.

MC is dumb as a box of rocks!

MC ask obvious questions, then gets mad at a Farry for not explaining the pointless and meaningless stuff to him. I am starting to think that the mc not used to having things not go his way, he does seem very spoiled with his reactions to everything going on around him. Also, he is a leach who keeps stealing other people's kills. How can people get stronger, when a high-level person keeps sneaking in and finishing off half dead monsters. all he is doing is taking exp away from everyone else.

Lock needs a clue by four

OMG. What is wrong with the MC. He is fine with working with people but when it comes to basic gathering it feels like he got dropped on his head too many times. He is fine when it comes to fighting and looking defense, but it feels like "ow me ow my" for everything else from food to cleaning to getting back power after losing it . I like the world that is being built but really want a different MC. Want to like the story but on the fence if I will get the next book.

bad main character

The story is good if a little slow. The biggest problem with this story is the main character. I'm tried of him whining about putting his daughters in danger, or abusing his bonded slave fairy. He is also an idiot who gets pissed off at anything that surprises him. He then proceeds to yell at the fairy for not telling him about it. He need to adapt and start using his brain or be killed off for a new main character. Either of his daughters or wife at this point would be a better main character. Any of them have shown themselves to be smarter and more adaptive in crisis situations. At this point he is just another big dumb idiot with an axe.
