About this listen

Matt, Liz, and Aster are now Tier 10.

That means it's time for the Pather tournament. There they will face people who are as strong as them for the first time.

But things are never easy.

With years of Luna's guidance they will have to compete twice. Once as themselves and again under a mask with restrictions meant to ensure they really are the strongest.

Don't miss Book 5 of this action-packed fantasy adventure that blends everything you love about LitRPG with Xianxia.

About the series: This is a mix between LitRPG and Xianxia. It's like a car that looks like a LitRPG with dungeons and skills, but the interior and engine are all Xianxia. It features a magic system and progression system that are logically and internally consistent, as well as realistic fight scenes and a rational MC.

a great continuation

a great continuation I'm going to be honest this series is just really good I'm already caught up on Royal road so I'm not going to get too far into it but it's good I do feel like it goes off on tangents a little bit sometimes but overall at least an 80 out of 100

Cultivation!

This book took a good turn towards cultivation and progression. It feels like it's getting back on track and in a very good way. Looking forward to book 6

Decent book, if you liked the others this is similar

I don't know how I feel about the series anymore. The narrator is almost enough to make me stop listening. They have 3 different volumes that differ from sentence to sentence. One I can hardly hear, a normal volume and one I have to turn down my phones volume. Their cadence of reading is extremely strange.

As far as the story goes, I'm starting to lose interest. There are chapters of explanations, but it feels like there is little actual substance. The fight scenes feel more dull. The grand speeches people give seem extremely lack luster.

I'm hesitant to give it lower than a 4*, just because I do enjoy the overall theme. It just wouldn't be on my top 10 recommendations. But, if you've enjoyed the other books, this one has all the similar components, just going more in depth in a lot of the previously touched up on topics.

Good story but....

The story dragged at a few parts. I love the main characters and some of the side characters but it focused away from the main story too often imo. At those points and a few others the story dragged a bit. A large portion of the story is tangents and it took me out of enjoying it a few times. I also felt like the majority of this book was largely a bridge to get to the next one. Still it was good and if you're already this far into the series you will definitely enjoy it.

This series quickly jumped into my top 10

Can't say enough good things about this series or the narrarator, great magic system, character depth, action and more magic. I have well over 600 audiobooks and maybe only 15 with Lit-RPG. This is up there with He Who Fights Monsters but totally different. Another plus is the sequels come out quick. Can't wait for the next one

The world building and character building are still great in the series

The characters are still interesting, and the worlds they travel and paths they walk to better themselves remain interesting and fun to learn about. Another great installment in the series.

If you enjoy LitRPG books, Path is a must read. it's hard to put down once you start and the narrator does a very good job!
