This Book Shook Me!
Whoa! This was such a powerful book! After suffering from childhood trauma myself I find this book to be very instrumental in actively taking steps to heal and understand that it will be okay. Gave me many reassuring thoughts and feelings despite my traumatic past.

Deeply Touching
This book touched on the most vulnerable places that I usually try to avoid. While reading, I realized that I have a lot of unhealed trauma, and I think implementing some of the tactics and strategies mentioned in this book will help heal me.

Full of Life Skills Everyone Needs
I was pleasantly surprised by this book. Yes, the premise is healing your inner child and this books does an incredible job walking you through exactly what that means, how do you know you need healing, and what to do but it’s so much more than that.
I specifically liked the passage on 3 steps to setting boundaries. I’ve never heard of it explained that way. I’ve also never heard of the Emotional Freedom Tapping Technique (EFT) and I found that fascinating.
This book was well-researched and well-written and the narrator did an excellent job. I highly recommend it.

Very helpful book
This book is a wonderful resource for those who suffered childhood abuse. It teaches you how to think correctly, like rewiring the brain, to heal those deep childhood wounds. It is amazing how many people in this world were abuse by adults when they were children and I hope this book can get into their hands. Thank you to the author for bringing hope to so many.

This is the way to help deep wounds
I love this book. It addresses a really tough subject that many of us are barely even aware of. So many of our hurt emotions come from childhood traumas and we're completely oblivious to them. This book shows you all the different facets of healing your inner child from the cellular to the spiritual. You can't ask for more than this.

Healing
Having come through addiction, a big part was understanding what inner child actually meant and how to heal my past. This audible was great at explaining everything in a really easy and relatable way. It has given me the confidence to get further help and start the real healing process now that I am sober. I loved every chapter and the narration kept me engaged. Highly recommended.

Support and guidance that will actually help
Examining your inner child is an essential step in the healing process. Discovering what wounded you as a child and how to deal with and heal is a complicated and vital process. The author shares her own experiences in the hopes of supporting and assisting the reader. The author examines how you can reparent yourself to heal your inner child. I had never thought of dealing with trauma in that way, but it makes sense. The book examines mindfulness and taking care of your present self. The writing is well done and thoughtfully organized to help the reader as they deal with emotional issues and healing. The narrator lends a calm and peaceful voice to help set a comfortable and supportive tone for listening. Everyone can benefit from remembering to love themselves and concentrate on living their best life. I didn't think I had any specific issues that needed to be examined, but after listening and using the steps in this book, I reflected on certain events and found new ways to look at old issues that brought me new peace and clarity. Highly recommend.
