Holy F!!ck That was Emotional!

Wow I'm still in disbelief! Its is not very often a book actually blind sides me. Seriously though what an EPIC story!!! Totally unique and nothing like what I expected. I guarantee you have never read anything like it. How did she even come up with this concept?! The character realism was unreal. You feel every emotion right along with them. I'm seriously salivating for the next book already. My eyes are all puffy and me head hurts cuz I didn't sleep last night, couldn't stop listening. Omg its 1pm lol- that if nothing else should tell you this story grabs you and does not let go! Oh and the spice! Wow 🫦🔥👌‼️seriously HOT. The amazing sex scenes can only be rivaled by the truely diabolical cringe factor that I won't tell you anything about so it catches you completely off guard too. Did not see THAT coming. Its messed up and emotional and panty melting hot and will make you want to scream at the unfairness of life. Hot damn what a good book! Get it! Do it! Its worth 5credits easy! I cannot recommend enough!

Story Review:
Great story. Twists and blind sided. The story itself is great. Can’t wait for 2nd book.
Audiobook review:
The voice for Denver is so wrong! Sounds like a 80 yr old instead of an older Brad Pitt lookalike. Voice pairing for Frankie and Wolf… chefs kiss. Kodi and Leo… not bad but also does not match their description.

Spoilerish (proceed with caution):
I hate who she choice to give herself to. To the greediest of them all but not either of the only two that would sacrifice themselves, pain themselves for her unconditional love? For once, I want the MFC in a “why choice” to actually pick the right one. But I guess our hearts wouldn’t hurt if that’s the way the story goes. Makes for good sales.

Another insanely good book by Pam Godwin. So many conflicting emotions. It’s derp, dark and agonizing to read but also contains love and hope. I will need a short breather before I can dive into the next book in the series.

I’ve been putting off reading this series until it was done. I started this on my kindle yesterday and switched back and forth. When I tell you I couldn’t stop listening and reading! I thought I knew where the story was going, but then was completely thrown for a loop! I loved this audiobook so much! I will be starting book 2 right away!

As someone who read thrillers before diving into the deep end of dark romance, reading “Hills of Shivers and Shadows” felt like I could have my cake and eat it too. It’s the perfect dark, romantic suspense story - a marriage of everything I like to read in a book.

"If hell exists, this is it. The place where evil reigns."

The atmospheric writing transported me straight into the Alaskan wilderness with the complex cast of characters. The plot is paced well and I was never bored. The characters and the story are multi-layered and unpredictable! This book is marketed as a slow burn, and that’s true, but it didn’t feel like that while reading it. There are two characters in particular that I thoroughly enjoyed whenever they got page time – one of them good, and one of them evil. I won’t tell you their names.

“This place…” His gaze drifts over the empty hills, his tone deep and resonant, like hollow notes striking the walls of a tomb. “This place wants to kill you.”

I will not spoil a moment of this book for you because I feel like it’s best to dive in as blindly as possible. Readers beware – this book ends on a cliffhanger that will pick up where the reader left off in the second book in the trilogy. Also, check the trigger warnings. This book has many of them.

I ate this story up, and I am more than ready for the next book in the trilogy! The duet narration was executed masterfully!

OMG Amazing!

wow.. is all I can say... I NEED book 2!! This story is twisted and captivating...and ends on such a cliffhanger. I can't wait for the second book. The duet narration was fantastic. The male narrator hit each male characters voice uniquely and the female is always good in any book I listen to.

Amazing job! One of the best audiobooks I’ve ever listened to. Stella hunter is one of my favorites, but the male narrator was so good. All the voices he does make you feel like he’s really more than one person. This author is also amazing, I don’t even have words… I literally am crying at the end of this book. The character building and world building are phenomenal.
