There is nothing I did not like about this. Everything that could be covered to date is covered in its entirety with Dr. Gregor’s excellent reading of his own work.

This is my favorite Dr Gregor book bc I’ve never heard anyone go more in depth, leaving no stone unturned on every natural and medicinal route to lower LDL and more importantly the detailed explanations for it all. Def the starting point people should began at if interested in this controversial and complicated undertaking. I’ve spent years perusing YouTube attaining diff pieces of knowledge but this book puts it altogether like a masterpiece puzzle.

This is a valuable resource on lowering LDL cholesterol. Plenty of valuable information on how to lower your cholesterol. Good resources, good insights. Might want to reread this a second time to study the concepts. Highly recommend.

I bought this mostly as a motivational listen. Dr. Greger's longer books already provide almost all of this information, and this title is targeted at adjusting his Daily Dozen recommendations at lowering LDL. I love having a 2-hour pep talk of reminders that I can listen to every once in a while to keep my mind on healthy eating, especially on the way home from work when I'm most tempted to stop and get something unhealthy. The discussion of statin benefits and risks is a good overview, especially the section on number-to-treat. I also appreciate the close look at the Portfolio Diet, an approach that I have been considering.

If you haven't read or listened to Dr. Greger's other books, I suggest starting with those. I'm treating this as a tool for dietary hacks to supplement my statins, not an overall guide to healthy eating.
