Publisher's summary

All stories come to an end, and thankfully this one is very cozy.

In the final installment of Dark Lord of the Farmstead, find out what becomes of the Stillwater family. Mild spoilers: it's wholesome.

As Gray continues to take care of his family every way he can, while also juggling politics every now and then, Narya is planning a birthday surprise for her husband. Kaya is still coming to grips with what she's become, but Meeko has a plan--and a quest--to help her. It involves some monsters, some fishing, and a healthy dose of adventure.

Level up in this final installment of Dark Lord of the Farmstead. Try not to get too sniffly!

A fitting and very wholesome end to the series

It gets pretty sappy at times but it's always been like that, so if you ate it up in books 1-3 you should enjoy it here. For the most part it seems like all subplots are tied up in a nice little bow. In places it feels like the author was very conscious about this, like he was checking it off a list, but it makes for a pretty complete experience. I just re-listened to books 2 and 3.

It's a bit sad to know that this is probably the last book in the series (the author posted this on Facebook). Still, at least he completed it. He had me worried for a while. Thanks, John. I am looking forward to your next series. This is one of my favorite cozy books right up there with I Ran Away From Evil. I also really liked Soulstone Bakery.
