Good information, would prefer print copy
Would you recommend this book to a friend? Why or why not?
good information for a lay person new to this topic. However at times the terminology can get quite technical and this is where a print copy would be easier because you can see how things, such as recommended supplements, are spelled. Otherwise it is difficult to look more into it or find it at a store.
Would you be willing to try another book from Dr. Datis Kharrazian? Why or why not?
A next step for somebody new to this topic would probably be to go into a clinic and talk directly about my specific situation.
Would you listen to another book narrated by Adam Verner?
yes
Did Why Isn't My Brain Working? inspire you to do anything?
yes, i am investigating to go to a local clinic referenced in the book to get testing

Just a normal person
Would you try another book from Dr. Datis Kharrazian and/or Adam Verner?
no
What could Dr. Datis Kharrazian have done to make this a more enjoyable book for you?
Bring down to a level easier to understand by someone concerned about their decreasing memory abilities.
Was Why Isn't My Brain Working? worth the listening time?
The book's level of difficulty was not suitable for 'normal person'

Fantastic! One of the most helpful and applicable books I have read. Dr Datis K is now my favorite author.
As a clinical holistic nutritionist the principles and concepts are not new but Dr. K’s knowledge, experience and ongoing desire to learn from the patients he is serving has created a treatise in brain health that I have been looking for. Please Dr K, keep writing. - I will read every book you write, probably several times.

One big advertisement
Is there anything you would change about this book?
Leave out the silly testimonials that "helpfully" list the doctor's contact information at the end of each. This makes the entire book sound like a giant infomercial. Just call this Doctor, operators are standing by to fix YOU.
What do you think your next listen will be?
Nothing else by Dr. Datis Kharrazian.
What does Adam Verner bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?
I don't have to read, I can simply listen.
Do you think Why Isn't My Brain Working? needs a follow-up book? Why or why not?
No, it doesn't. It would be more of an infomercial.
Any additional comments?
This book needs a section that is dedicated to the advertisements and a section dedicated JUST to the tests, what should be done, and the supplements that can help. Not all the anecdotes that take away from the facts. The information is great, but it doesn't help in the way it is laid out.

Tough to follow as an Audible book
The book contains lots of detail that a reader would want to reference later, making it a tough Audible read. This is definitely not one for commute time or a long run. It might work better if you’re able to listen and take notes.
