Publisher's summary
The land must be cleansed of filth.
After ridding their home of the demon Lieutenant lurking within, Spot and Bee are left with quite the mess to clean up. The castle lay in ruins around them, its repair a daunting task for even the most industrious little vacuum. Fortunately, cleaning is Spot's specialty.
But little do they know that their actions have far-reaching consequences. A new threat has begun to rise in the countryside—an undead plague that threatens to scour the land of any human life.
To fight against them, Spot will need to do more than ever before. He will have to fight zombies, defend his new home from invaders, and overcome his greatest foe yet—the dreaded stairs. And also clean, of course.
But as they turn the castle into a beacon of order and cleanliness, they'll soon find others flocking toward their banner of hope. People who see Spot as more than just a vacuum …
Follow this wholesome vacuum on his quest to power in All the Dust that Falls, a hilarious new Isekai LitRPG that will make you question what it means to be a hero. Or if heroes even need limbs, or mouths, or … you get it.

Story
The usual result of a human taking a runaway semitruck head-on is a very sudden, very fast track to the pearly gates. But for one newly noncorporeal man, there's another option: become a dungeon. Feeling sorry for the desperate angel assigned to him, the man relents. Heck, if it doesn't work out, he can always chat with Saint Peter about it later. Next thing you know, he's a dungeon. Admittedly, a small run-down, somewhat unimpressive dungeon (more of a house, actually), but you gotta start somewhere, right?

Ashlock wakes in the courtyard of a demonic sect... as a tree. A tree that eats people. An odd start to a new life. Almost as strange as the humans flying through the skies on flaming swords and challenging the heavens. After all, this is a world where humans could chase the goal of immortality through the art of cultivation. But Ashlock is merely a sapling in a desolate courtyard, left alone with his thoughts and unable to speak to those passing him by. Unless he does something about it.

Just as enthralling as the first book...
To those who read my review of the first volume, this is nearly a copy and paste. I did this intentionally since the second volume was just as awesome as the first.
Audible had recommended the first volume to me less than a week ago. I listened to the sample and figured I'd give this a chance.
Before I knew it, I was so enthralled that I had bypassed listening to anything else. This story was written so well, that if you told me that this series took a few years of writing and editing, I would be able to easily believe it.
I recommend the series to everyone who enjoys books about swords and sorcery with comedy mixed in throughout.
(Actual copy and paste. I believe readers/listeners should read this to offset the reviews that are unfairly bashing the author and narrator.)
One fact I must impart upon all those who read this, do not imagine the characters are from modern society. Instead, the characters are more like people from the darkest point in our dark ages. Lives were short and fragile, people were superstitious, almost all were illiterate, and critical thinking was at an all time low.
I have read reviews complaining about how stupid the author was for leaving such huge 'holes' in the writing. They continued with stating facts that are common in today's society, but they had also neglected to include the fact that the story did not, in fact, take place in our world nor with our technology.
There were also a few who were complaining that the one narrator was performing all the voices of the people. If it was Michael Winslow, we might be able to have someone performing about a dozen voices and be able to tell the difference. However, the character count in book 2 exceeds two dozen, if not approaches three dozen. There were also several people complaining that the story didn't indicate long periods of time passed. And, yet, the Harry Potter books did the same thing and their reviews were borderline fanatical about that particular series without once complaining about the same concept. Consistency is apparently not their strong suit.
I know this review doesn't really have any spoilers, which was intentional. I feel this book needs no spoilers beyond the sample. I hope the readers give this series an honest chance. So, I recommend buying this book and sitting back with either a mindless task or just sit in the dark and give this a listen. Let your mind's eye take you to a world of mystery and entertainment.

Enjoyed it but there's one glaring problem.
Enjoyed the story so far. Phil is doing a good job as narrator but can use a little bit more variety in his characters voices. One major problem that the story has is the communication between Void and his followers. Write it down. Void for a volume and a half now can read and write. It's absurd that no one, especially Void, hasn't thought to write down what Void has to say. B has known Void can read since it learned in the library half way through volume 1. Yet not once has she thought to have it write what it has to say. It was funny at first but now it's just sad. As a writer, it's worth sacrificing the occasional "funny" misunderstanding to avoid making your characters look like idiots. It's especially bad when you realize that a considerable chunk of this story has people reading things in ordered to survive. This volume particularly had a section that focused on people learning how read and write. B this volume took the time to chronicle her life after meeting Void. Yet not once after all that writing did she think to have Void write anything down? It didn't hit her brain once while spending days writing about her experience with Void to have her master write things down as the solution to her comprehension problem with it? So to see the character's, especially B who we know can read, struggle to get the true message from their god when it's a pen and paper away was annoying every time for me.

Weirdly satisfying.
The vocal performance is spot on and enhances the story. The story/premise is absolutely absurd, and I've loved every minute of books 1 and 2. I'm hoping there are many more.

More good times with our favorite vacuum
The second installment seems much more meandering and slower paced. It has a more slice of life feeling than the previous one. That being said it was still quite enjoyable, and had a few good laughs in there.
Another reviewer said they were really frustrated by the constant miscommunications again—but I found it just as pleasing as last time, and totally believable as long as you’re will to suspend disbelief. It makes sense to me that a vacuum would have different sensibilities than a human, and take some of these ridiculous situations in stride.

I absodamnlutely loved every minute of this book!
Such a great and fun read! I absodamnlutely loved it! It's sharply written and funny, I don't mean in the comic way either. But it's funny by it's very nature, it's absurdity, with a mc that's a roomba vacuum cleaner and followers that treat it like a god! Not only is it the god of clean and hater of stairs but in this book his followers now believe that it's also the god of lost children. And I loved every minute of it. And I'll happily follow the God named Spot or is it called Void! As it travels on to the next book!
Ohhhh and I really do enjoy Phil Thron's narration.
