An amazing book.

I enjoyed every second of this. A great slice of life book filled with interesting and entertaining characters that was funny and engaging from start to finish. It was nice listening to a story that wasn’t all doom and gloom. Can’t wait till the next book.

Beers and Beards! You get what you buy.

I loved this book because it was essentially as advertised. The humor and narration helped me stay enthralled through some of the slower parts but the pacing was still leagues better than some other books where the first half is unessential and the last half is what you were waiting for at the end of the previous novel all crammed into the last 9 or so hours. Admittedly the narration was a bit off at times and I occasionally rewound or just mentally skipped over some conversations in the book because I couldn't make out the words through the narrators dwarf accent but it really added to the charm of the book and I wouldn't have a piece of it changed. TLDR A fun, humorous book on dwarf society, magic, and the art of the brew.

Good from start to finish

Enjoyable story with memorable characters. Alot of back stories that hopefully will be addressed in future stories.

Well wasn’t expecting to find another series that is a must get book 2 but turns out I’m really good at finding books that I’ll love lol

It was a fun listen

I found it humorous and as a DM I always like hearing more insights on races, especially dwarves.
