Great story, full of surprises!

Very fun, odd, original, fascinating, and exciting story. Say what you will about Ray Porter and RC Bray (both I love BTW), but Mark Boyett kicks ass. Ever since I started Undying Mercenaries, he became one of my favorite narrators.

Reminded me of some of the LitRPG books out there, but with mix of AI, cool technology, and science fiction battles mixed in. Highly recommended. Can't wait for the next one.

If you like a tongue in cheek superhero world

The world reminds me a lot of the D-list Supervillain and the Forging Hephaestus series in the best ways possible. There is less focus of the "source" of super powers and more of a focus on how the presence of superpowers + resurrection technology impact society.

Too much fun!

Well written and perfectly narrated! Skyler Grant creates a fun and technical insiders view of Super AI’s, Heros, Villains, and aliens. I can’t wait for Book 3!

great story. some litrpg elements.

great story definitely some litrpg elements tactfully done so your not listening to everything just because 1 stat changed. i would say it is not stat heavy like some are. the main character plays a great roll in learning and thinking. NO spoilers lol.

Bureaucratic Villainy!

So funny! If you like Andrea Vernon and the Corporation for Ultrahuman Protection, you’ll enjoy this series too.

A surprisingly fun listen…

I have become both a little jaded and a bit of a snob on my LITRPG, but this book hit all the right notes with aplomb. Fans of the Bunker Core series (like me) might also notice and appreciate Mark Boyette’s masterful performance in both this and that series. I found the publisher’s pack to be a deep-value purchase.

a fun villainous romp

it was fun but simple. it stuck to it's core strengths and didn't try to add any sub plots.
